about Thane Police School

Thane Police School has established its infrastructure with 3 science laboratories, 2 spacious computer laboratories, auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 students, 2 libraries with latest books & periodicals , audio - visual rooms with smart board, art & craft rooms and music room, counselling centre for specially abled children, water purifier machines on each floor, well maintained labs with modern equipment, spacious classrooms, playground (including police parade ground and Saket police ground)

It is capable of catering to the needs of nearly 3600 students, right from Nursery to Class X. Presently the student strength is around 3000 with 105 staff members.

Visiting Hours

The school works in two shifts :

For Pre-primary Section :

Morning Batch : 8 a.m. to 12 noon
Afternoon Batch2: 12 noon to 4 p.m.

For Primary & Secondary Section :

Secondary Section 6.50 a.m. to 12.55 p.m.
Primary Section 1.15 p.m. to 6.15 p.m.

Principal :

10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Head Teacher :

11:30a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

School Office :

Pre-Primary Section: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Primary and Secondary Section: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Teachers :

Primary Section: 11.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Secondary Section: 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Std I-IV:

Shirt : Cream yellow short-sleeved terricot shirt
Shorts : Half pants(Poly/Viscose) with Green check and with half back elastic
Socks : Plain White (Calf length)
Shoes : Black all season shoes with Velcro or laces

Std V-VII :

Shirt : Cream yellow short-sleeved terricot shirt
Shorts : Plain Bottle Green half pants (Poly/Viscose)
Socks : Plain White (Calf length)
Shoes : Black all season shoes with laces

Std VIII-X :

Hair :

Girls Uniform

Blouse:

Cream yellow short-sleeved 100% cotton blouse with shirt collar.

Pinafore :

Green check (Poly/Viscose) with U-neck, sleeveless, box pleats in front and behind, and one side elastic on the waist (left side). The hem of the pinafore must not be higher than 2 inches above the kneecap.

Socks:

Plain White (Calf length)

Shoes :

Black all-season shoes with buckles

Hair :

If the girls' hair reaches their shoulders, they must make 2 plaits / ponytails using black ribbons as per the length of the hair. If the hair reaches just below the ears a black cotton hair band or black hair clips should be used to keep the hair in place. No fancy hairpins, clips or hair bands will be allowed.

Sweater :

Plain bottle green 'V' necked pullover

Nails :

Nails should be clipped

Physical Education Uniform for Girls and Boys

P.E uniform should be worn on the day when P.E. is mentioned in the time-table.

T-Shirt :

Grey Melange (88% cotton + 22% polyester) with Wrangler sleeves (100% cotton) and round rib collar (cotton + spandex) of the House colour. School logo at chest level on the left side

Track pants :

Black Sinker (52% cotton + 48% polyester) with house colour piping along the length and draw-strings

Shoes :

Navy Blue canvas with laces (Bata)

Socks :

White nylon (Regular)

Sweater :

Plain Bottle Green V-necked pullover
